Rock Band / Guitar Hero World Tour in conjunction with the Roland TD3 use
The drum kit Guitar Hero World Tour may not be the best * cough *, but it has an advantage over the drum kit from Rock Band. No, not the cymbals, but the MIDI-in jack. Thanks to this input can join an electronic drum kit like the Roland TD-3KW .
Since I have such a kit, I had to try it for a spin. So connected the GHWT kit on, run console with Guitar Hero World Tour and started to. Loose-? Not directly, because before you can play with the drum kit the game, you have yet to adjust the layout of the individual pads correctly. Although the GHWT kit, the maps already incoming signals correctly, the arrangement of the E-drum kit is a bit of getting used to.
In order nachzubauben the setup of the GHWT kit much detail as they did, I made the following settings on the Drum Brain (press Edit, then Edit button repeatedly to Note # lit, the desired pad) Re:
Snare: 38
Ride: 46
Tom 1: 48
Tom 2: 48
Crash: 49
Tom 3: 45
Bass: 36
did this I ready to buy the GHWT kit pretty much the only exception is the blue pad, here I have two to choose from (Tom Tom 1 and 2).
The whole thing looks so like this: Red = Snare
Ride = Yellow 1 = Blue
Tom Tom 2 = Blue
Crash = Orange 3 =
Tom Green
Bass = Purple
I have still to Ride / Crash the margins set correctly, as rim shots are ignored by the GHWT kit. Right now I have to make exactly the middle, which activate the Star Power is pretty tricky. Generally I think activating the star power on the drums in GHWT solved badly.
Maybe I lay back and the yellow pad on the hi-hat, I must go with what I'm better looking clear.
For Rock Band my setup looks like this way:
Snare Tom 1 = Red = Yellow
Tom 2 = Blue 3 = Green
Tom
Here, I'll probably still crash and ride accordingly show, so I can play to get a better "feel the drums".
